For all this Nature is never spent
There lives the dearest freshness deep down things
And though the last lights off the black west went
Ah, morning! at the brown brink eastward springs
Because the Holy Ghost over the bent
World broods with warm breast and ah! bright wings.
Gerard Manley Hopkins

Yes we’re open, undaunted, knowing that Nature is never spent, that the dearest fresh deep down things are available to us … and a breathing space is what we need.
We continue, as usual, to provide a quiet space for individuals, offering hospitality, coffee, tea and home baking. We follow the advised hygiene and social distancing routines. Just phone / email your preferred time so we can ensure you have space to yourself. (Families, one at a time, are welcome too but we can’t receive group visits.)

So if you are isolated, and a tad bored or need a break from home-schooling, then go for a walk, and come by 123b Birmingham Road. You are welcome to wander round the garden, find a seat where you can watch the growth and energy of the natural world, come inside and make yourself a hot drink, linger a while in a warm corner, and pray … It’s a good idea to phone in advance in case we are out for a walk ourselves: phone 02476 713 381.
