consider the flowers

May 25, 2026May 25, 2026 by Breathing Space Coventry

Walk into the fields and look at the wildflowers. They don’t fuss with their appearance—but have you ever seen colour and design quite like it? If God gives such attention to the wildflowers, most of them never even seen, don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you?

Think about those beautiful wild lilies growing over there. They don’t work up a sweat toiling for needs or wants—they don’t worry about clothing. Yet the great King Solomon never had an outfit that was half as glorious as theirs!

Look at the grass growing over there. One day it’s thriving in the fields. The next day it’s being used as fuel. If God takes such good care of such transient things, how much more you can depend on God to care for you, weak in faith as you are.

Luke 12:27-28 & Matthew 6:27

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.

Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

Here at Breathing Space in the beauty of the Garden we are considering the flowers that are bursting forth and the birds that daily visit, along with the precious words from the Bible that encourage us to have faith and trust in a loving God who cares for all He has made.

We are open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9am-4pm, Please contact us to book a space to come aside and rest awhile, contemplate the beauty of nature and the words of promise. You are welcome here.
