Introducing the trustees

Alison is a lay hospital chaplain and Methodist interested in floristry,
art and contemplative spaces. Married with two grown-up sons.
Ellie Rose first came to Breathing Space Coventry in December 2017 finding it to be a haven in the midst of life.  Ellie joined the team in Summer 2023 as an Artist in Residence and finds the beauty of the garden, stillness and hospitality of the place such an inspiration that she also seeks to share that with others who visit.
Ellie is an art tutor who works with Adult Community Learning and loves to equip others and help them reach their creative potential. She also loves walking, photography and contemplative spaces.
Ann brings years of experience of living in community and spiritual accompaniment/ retreat work …and has recently returned to Coventry after some years away. She loves colour, creativity and movement, being there for others and lastly, trying her best to live her vocation to the full.
Andrew is a retired engineer and project manager, having worked for 36 years for Jaguar. It was through one of his daughters that he and Caroline came to Breathing Space. They now regularly book in for a quiet morning’s reflection and rest in the quiet, peaceful surroundings and the warm friendship and community. When not immersed in family life, Andrew enjoys singing, DIY, travelling and tinkering with a 1972 MG.
Dagmer works with Asylum Seekers and Refugees and coordinates projects to bring support required to help them settle in. Also as a Family worker in Willenhall, she helps families to grow in their faith for God.
She enjoys singing while playing the keys, one of the ways she worships God. Dagmer has an indoor plant collection and loves researching how to care for plants.
Hello there! I’m Crystal. During the week I am a product development engineer; outside of work, I enjoy yoga, afternoon tea and reading. I firmly believe that faith is much more than the buildings where we worship. I love to explore different ways to meet God. This includes through nature, art, meditation, solitude and community. All of which are on offer at breathing space Coventry!
