Changes in the air … but still space for breathing

September 1, 2023 by Breathing Space Coventry

Changes are afoot: the seasons are changing; the harvest of sunflowers, beans, pumpkins, cosmos, apples, raspberries is well underway. . . . and the UK world is turning its face towards another school year, the next phase of work, reviewing weekly routines and commitments, and pondering how to keep refreshed and healthy in our lifestyles.

A summer-y breathing space has been had. Now its back to …? what is normal for you? Sometimes it needs a tweak or two; other times we need to get out of the boat and walk on water for a bit.

Well, Lois and Peter, hosts and founders of Breathing Space, are courageously getting out of their boat and moving to Aotearoa New Zealand; and new hosts have courageously sold their home and are living in at Breathing Space from September 2023.

Chris and Grahame have a love of the natural world and enjoy being out in all seasons accompanied by their dog Mabel.  They both practise Christian contemplation and are privileged to walk alongside others as ‘soul friends’.  Interests and passions include yoga, art, music, dancing, cooking, poetry and theatre.  Chris and Grahame try to live in gratitude for the gift of each new day…. open to the surprise of its unfolding.

Mabel is curious, kindly and very lovable; she loves to welcome then quickly returns to rest! But do tell Chris and Grahame if you prefer to arrive quietly: Mabel is equally happy snoozing on her mat behind closed doors.

There are changes in the air … but still space for breathing. You are welcome here.
